The Posters: Statement of Intent I, Critical Context, Morikrom
The first phase of statement of intent (SOI) had two posters, with the most red being the second release/focus area (critical context) able to be scanned through augmented reality with Artivive app. The food-based first poster was made with raw materials, and barefooted, emphasizing multidisciplinary principle. Inspired by the quote ‘You Are What You Eat’ as well as the famous painting, The Last Supper, by Leonardo DaVinci. The focus area, ‘Perspective’, is inspired by Christoph Niemann’s “Sunday Sketch (Bike)”.

One of the graphic design trends for 2020 is the monochromatic color trend. Alongside the line art trend, Morikrom acts as the trend poster inspired by one of the earliest forms of monochrome graphic prints: postage stamps. While might not sound relatable, but three-colored cats are one of the examples that celebrate color in life. The title Morikrom is a combination of the cat’s name, Mori, given by Finally, added with Krom (Chrome) from Monochrome.
